Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devlet Demiryollari Isletmesi

A selection of sixteen pictures taken near Kiliclar station, nine kilometres west of Irmak, and sixty kilometres east of Ankara. This freight runs most weekday mornings, seen here with a pair of General Motors G26 DE22000 Diesels. The train can be seen for about twelve minutes as it struggles to gain height. Pictures taken on 14 October 2000, using a Canon 300 EOS camera, with a Tamron 28-200mm lens. Photos scanned from colour prints, (view left - right, then down).
